Infiniti was an early adopter of surround-view camera technology with its Around View Monitor, which stitches images from multiple cameras into a bird's-eye view. Those cameras, plus parking sensors and radar for ProPILOT Assist, are often mounted in or near the bumpers.
Bumper repairs must preserve the exact mounting positions of these sensors. If a cover is torn near a sensor or mounting tabs are broken, replacement is the reliable choice.
Around View Monitor cameras may require calibration after bumper removal or replacement so the combined image lines up correctly. Radar systems need calibration too. As an Infiniti-certified shop, we follow the required procedures.
