An Audi bumper is a system. The painted cover sits over foam absorbers and a reinforcement bar, and it holds parking sensors, camera mounts, fog lamp trim and, at the front, the Singleframe grille that frames the radar sensor on many models. Damage to any one of these affects the repair plan.

The sensor may be pushed out of position or damaged. It needs to be inspected and reseated or replaced.
Aftermarket covers may not fit sensors or radar properly. OEM parts are recommended where sensors are involved.
