On many recent Hondas, the front radar for Honda Sensing sits behind the Honda emblem or lower grille. A minor front bump can move the radar bracket or damage the emblem that covers it. Some emblems are designed to let radar signals pass through, so replacements must be the correct Honda part.
Scuffs and small cracks can be repaired. We recommend replacement when mounting points are broken, when the cover is torn near sensors, or when previous repairs have left filler in areas that affect radar performance.
Hondas with blind spot information use rear corner radar units behind the bumper. Rear-corner impacts can damage or misalign them, so we inspect and verify function after repairs.
We check panel gaps, test parking sensors and perform Honda Sensing calibrations when the procedure requires it.
