The Santa Cruz is Hyundai's compact pickup, which Hyundai calls a Sport Adventure Vehicle. It is built in Montgomery, Alabama, and shares its unibody platform with the Tucson. That combination of an open bed with a car-like structure creates repair needs you will not find on a traditional truck.
Because the Santa Cruz has no separate frame, its bed is integrated into the body structure. Rear impacts can affect the bed sides, rear floor and cab back panel together. We measure the structure and follow Hyundai procedures for sectioning and replacement.
The Santa Cruz has a lockable storage compartment under the bed floor and an available integrated tonneau cover. After rear or bed damage, we check that the trunk seals and drains properly and that the cover slides and locks correctly.
Tailgates are damaged by rear impacts and by loading. We repair or replace the tailgate, check the latches and backup camera, and inspect the rear bumper step and sensors.
Bike racks, ladders and cargo can scratch or dent bed rails. We repair these areas and restore corrosion protection.
As a Hyundai-certified collision center, we calibrate SmartSense sensors after repairs and back collision work with a lifetime warranty.
